There are eight areas carved out of solid rock which are accessible to visitors and it’s definitely worthwhile spending the day here and taking in the unique atmosphere. Although no Kings were ever buried here, the tombs are certainly fit for Royalty.

 

4) Paphos Aphrodite Water Park

If you’re looking for an adrenaline packed day out with your family or friends then the Paphos Aphrodite Water Park has something to suit everyone.

There are exhilarating rides for adults such as the Kamikazi as well as a kid’s pool and themed slides. There is also family rafting on giant dhingys which children and big kids can do together, just prepare yourself for the giant splash at the end.

 

5) Greco-Roman Theatre at Kourion

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Mediterranean Ocean, this ancient theatre has been meticulously restored and is now a truly inspiring venue for open air musical and theatrical shows.

If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous to do in Kourion, it’s also renowned as a great place for paragliding which is a unique way to view the theatre far below.
