Take a walk or cycle around the natural Cypriot landscape surrounding the Beach Resort and follow the winding pathways to discover some of the plants, animals, flora and Cypriot history that typify this part of the island.
Nature lovers will be delighted by the diverse species of native flora and fauna. There are more than 40 different species of orchids in vibrant colours just waiting to be discovered and the impressive white cliffs to the east of the bay are a well-known nesting ground for Griffon vultures.
If that wasn’t enough to tempt you then the Troodos Mountains boast species-rich fauna, diverse vegetation and many villages, large and small, with fantastic views into the valleys and over the mountain peaks.
And last but not least; take time to explore the numerous picturesque mountain villages, the Byzantine Kykkos Monastery and Orthodox churches with beautiful frescoes and icons. Many well known Cypriot heritage attractions are located only a few minutes away by car.
