

The gourmet restaurant Marco Polo, headed by our chef de cuisine David Mottl,
will be reopened on 3 August 2012
Thanks to André Stolle and his team, our gourmet restaurant has cooked up one Michelin star. The Marco Polo at COLUMBIA Hotel Wilhelmshaven is therefore one of the 10 best restaurants in Lower Saxony.
We look forward to presenting David Mottl as the creative successor of André Stolle in the near future! Born in 1977, David Mottl is a native Franconian. An imaginative chef who conjures up exciting creations with different textures such as hot and cold, soft and crispy or fine and rustic. "The kitchen and cuisine", says Mottl, "is the point at which our whole philosophy of life becomes noticeable."
We are also delighted to introduce our new Restaurant Head and sommelier, Axel Braukmann.
He has many years of experience in the first class hotel business and well-known gourmet restaurants.
