So called the island of Aphrodite from the mythical goddess of love and beauty, Cyprus is undoubtedly splendid. Perhaps Pissouri's magic can be attributed to the legend that says Aphrodite rose from the ocean's waves not far from here, in Petra tou Romiou? 

This combination of the past and present, the wealth of archaeological sites nearby and contemporary culture features in the design and ambience of the COLUMBIA Beachotel in Pissouri. The sympathetic use of local stone, wooden features and colours has produced a building that is in harmony with the landscape echoing local Mediterranean architecture. The hotel was built in 1981 and reopened again in 2005 following complete refurbishment.
