Schärding

Austria's most beautiful baroque city

The magnificent town of Schärding is situated in Upper Austria's “Innviertel“, at the geographical border to Bavaria. The fortificated medieval town's architectural style is emphasized by several cultural epochs, however, the centrepiece is the baroque “Silberzeile“, situated in the city centre.
